It focuses on Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto during their time as students at Jujutsu High, and how they became enemies. "Shibuya Incident" takes place in the present as the Sorcerers and Curses engage in an all-out war in Shibuya on Halloween. Studio Mappa excelled in capturing the emotional highs and lightning-fast action of Jujutsu Kaisen, making it a standout this season.

 

8. Heavenly Delusion

Heavenly Delusion pleasantly surprised this year as a Hulu sci-fi anime. Following two kids in a post-apocalyptic world, armed with a battery-powered beam pistol, they battle monsters and bandits in search of heaven. The series, reminiscent of The Last of Us, gradually reveals insights into their dystopian world in each episode, keeping viewers eagerly anticipating more. Here's hoping future seasons answer the lingering questions.

 

9. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury
